Why small tools are easier to finish

A small tool can have one opinion and defend it. That makes the design easier to explain, the failure modes easier to see, and the finish line much harder to move.

The useful constraint is not “build less” for its own sake. It is to name the exact moment the tool should improve, then refuse every feature that does not make that moment better.

This is sample copy, but the rule is real: an imperfect thing with a URL teaches more than a perfect thing that never leaves a local folder.
